I’ve always loved the smell of pancake batter- specifically the cinnamon pancake batter that my dad used to make.

The warmth that would fill the room as he flipped the pancakes on the stove, always made me feel like everything was going to be okay. Once he got too sick to cook, he would ask me to make them for him. It’s been 7 months since he passed, and I haven’t made them since. Some days life feels like it’s continuing, and other days life feels frozen in time and memories.

Creating art that makes me feel close to my dad has become my favorite way to keep on continuing. Cinnamon Pancake is dedicated to my angel. I love you Daddy :)

The star of this Cinnamon Pancake is… you guessed it- CINNAMON!

Cinnamon is one of my favorite ingredients to incorporate into my formulas due to its ability to:

- neutralize harmful bacteria on the surface of the skin
- improve skin texture by removing dead skin cells
- imporve skin elasticity by stimulating collagen production
- boost your skin’s natural glow by increasing blood circulation to the skin
- neutralize free radicals (unstable molecules that damage the skin) & prevent aging due to the presence of the antioxidant CINNAMALDEHYDE
