My newest potion is inspired by my grandmother. Every time she sees me, I hear:

"Ayanna, drink some water and lay down. You are doing TOO much. You need to relax before you make yourself sick." Lately, however, she's been taking it up a notch.

"AYANNA. Your eyes are showing me that you're working too hard. Lay DOWN."

I don't know about y'all...but I've never had somebody tell me that they can see my stress in my eyes. As many of you know, October orders were delayed because I ended up getting really sick & not being able to recover as quickly as I would like to.

Something I think we should talk about more is that stress can and WILL make you sick. Chronic stress can cause physical symptoms like headaches/ dizziness, chest pain, stomach problems & sleep issues. It can also result in mental symptoms such as brain fog, anxiety & irritability. Overtime, it can weaken your immune system and increase your risk for heart disease & high blood pressure.

My newest potion, Zen Potion, goes beyond MY stress. In these times we are living in, MOST people are stressed. How could I be an artist/creator and not reflect the current times?

Zen Potion is a mind-calming aromatherapy experience. Every single herb, seed oil, and therapeutic grade essential oil in this formula was selected with the intention of providing the user with a sense of peace & tranquility.

For example, I added jasmine flowers and therapeutic grade jasmine oil because I drink jasmine tea before I go to the dentist ( yes, I am still terrified of the dentist at this big age ).

I added sage leaves and therapeutic grade sage essential oil because this herb has been used by indigenous people for a VERY long time to neutralize evil spirits. Anxiety & depression are two examples of evil spirits that alter our perception of reality, making it extremely difficult to carry out day to day tasks or operate as our highest self.
