BACKSTORY:
A few months ago, my mom began experiencing issues with her fro: extreme dryness, itchy scalp & excessive breakage. She asked me to formulate something that would bring her hair back to life, and I immediately got to work combining botanical extracts from green tea, cactus, aloe, mango & more. I was on a mission to create a leave-in that would nourish not only the hair, but also support overall scalp health.

I put the finishing touches on the prototype and delivered it to her, anxious to hear her feedback and see her results.

After the FIRST USE, she and I both noticed her hair was visibly softer and her scalp felt a level of RELIEF that she hadn’t experienced in a very long time. A few days later, she reported that her breakage had decreased significantly. For the first time in what seemed like forever, she was able to run a comb through her hair without seeing an excessive amount of hair coming off on the comb.

After hearing how excited she was about her results, I wanted to try the conditioner for myself. The only issue was, the original formula wasn’t loc friendly. I immediately went back to the drawing board and tweaked the original formula into a loc-friendly herbal hair milk which quickly became my favorite part of my daily hair care routine.
